Achieving efficient, consistent, and precise machined parts with your Pocket NC is guaranteed with Penta Machine’s quality configuration and calibration process.

Relentless Attention to Quality

Every Pocket NC mill undergoes an extensive performance evaluation before entering the calibration phase of its production process.  A complete review of manufacturing quality and component performance is undertaken to ensure that your Pocket NC performs right out of the box.  Inspection of the machine assembly includes a review of the spindle operation, correct alignment of components, and confirmation that every component conforms to the Penta Machine Company’s stringent requirements.

Automated Rotary Axis Calibration Ensures Precision 5 Axis Machining

Each Pocket NC is rigorously probed by an Mitutoyo Crysta Apex automated coordinate measuring machine to collect and compile crucial calibration data for each individual Pocket NC mill.   The results include detailed compensation tables generated for the rotary axes that guarantee your machine’s precise operation.

Final Calibration and Operational Readiness Assurance

In order to confirm that your Pocket NC is ready to machine consistently accurate parts, each mill actively performs several test cuts that generate accurate home offset values for the linear axes while evaluating the machine’s overall performance.
